What is the Parish Council Asking For?

Urgent Request for Holistic Environmental Review of Multiple Major Developments in North Oxfordshire

The  Parish Council is actively lobbying: our local councillors (who have been very supportive), our Local MP and the Secretary of State for Transport.

At this stage, we are asking for the following:

  1. That they support or initiate a coordinated, cross-agency environmental impact assessment that considers the collective effects of these projects.
  2. They engage with local authorities, environmental agencies, and residents to ensure community and ecological priorities are fully integrated into the planning framework
  3. Consider a moratorium or delay on planning approvals until such a holistic evaluation can be completed.
